This is a wonderful 3 days 2 nights safari to the Amboseli National Park which is crowned by the presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa. Amboseli is popularly known for the large herds of Elephants that are found there. There is also a high chance of getting to find the big five there. One could also get a chance to see a variety of water fowls. There is also a chance to experience the contemporary Maasai culture and indigenous lifestyle that the area has to offer.
ITINERY
Day 1: Departure
Go for an early morning game drive then go back for breakfast. After breakfast prepare to embark on a journey back to Nairobi city. Airport transfers and hotel drop offs will be done as required upon arrival in the city.
Day 2
After taking breakfast you head to the park for a full day game drive. Inside the park you will be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the highest mountain in Africa. You will also get a chance to enjoy the animals which include the big five animals while having the highest mountain creating a beautiful background. The herds of elephants that make Amboseli national park famous will be seen. You will also get a chance to enjoy bird watching in the park with the variety of birds that are available in the park. You will get a chance to enjoy picnic lunch in the park as you enjoy the beautiful savannah landscape. After the game park you return to the camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Pick up from the airport or the client’s hotel en route to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway arriving in time for lunch. The drive will take approximately 5 hours. After checking in the camp/ lodge and the taking of lunch and take a rest the clients also prepare for the evening game drive. Then get back to the camp/ lodge in time for dinner and your overnight stay.
